Matakana SuperFoods organic hemp is sourced from the world’s premium organic hemp growing region in Canada.
We’re aware of other organic hemp seed products on the market, however much of this has been imported from China which we don’t believe is on equal standing due to the countries heavy industrialisation and pollution levels. Unfortunately, NZ does not currently produce any organic hemp seed, however, we expect this to change over the coming years as growers are certified under the organic regime.
