With its slightly nutty flavour, quinoa is extremely versatile and can be substituted for rice and other grains in a multitude of recipes. The red and black seeds carry more polyphenol antioxidants than regular white quinoa seeds.

Quinoa is a highly nutritious seed that is prepared and consumed much like a grain. Rinse under running water before cooking and remove any small stones if present. For every cup of quinoa mix, use 2 cups of water. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for approx. 15-20 minutes until all liquid is absorbed. Use in salads, casseroles and baking.
Reseal pouch and store in a cool dry place.
