A close relative of cacao, cupuaçu (coo-pwah-sue) is a potent source of antioxidants and unique phytonutrients to support overall health and wellbeing. Known in the Amazon as the “pharmacy in a fruit”, cupuaçu contains a compound called theacrine, structurally similar to caeine but without the negative side effects. Theacrine is known for its mood, energy and concentration enhancing effects. However, unlike cafieine theacrine does not cause ‘jitters’. The concentration of theacrine, antioxidants, flavonoids and polyphenols in cupuaçu may also help support the immune system. HOW TO USE
Adults: 1-2 teaspoons daily.
