Chia seeds contain high levels of omega-3 fatty acids which are typically lacking in modern, western diets.

In fact, over half of the fatty acids found in chia are omega-3, making it one of the richest known plant sources. Chia is also a source of protein, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous, vitamin B1, niacin and zinc.

Chia seeds are also high in soluble fibre and are hydrophilic meaning that they attract and absorb water very well. This results in a feeling of fullness long after you have consumed them, keeping you satisfied and energised throughout the day.

How to Take

Sprinkle over cereal, salads or yoghurt. Incorporate into smoothies, juices, soups, baking, puddings and bread.

Helpful Hint: To use as an egg replacement in baking, simply combine 1 tbsp chia seeds with 3 tbsp cold water to form a gel.

Reseal pouch. Store in a cool dry place or refrigerate for maximum shelf-life. Ingredients do not contain gluten but are packed in a facility that may handle products containing gluten, nuts, and sesame seeds.
