Hi, I am travelling overseas and decided to purchase two 1kg bags of isolate protein to take with me, the grass fed whey isolate and the 94% clear. I opened the grass fed packet first...and loved it, and am now onto the 94% and it is terrible in comparison..it does'nt mix as well and has a bitter taste to it. I can normally handle anything unsweetend, but have had to add fruit to the mix to get rid of the taste. I'm not one to gripe, but if there had of been an honest review about it prior to purchase, I would not have bought it.
We've never tried 'clear' whey protein isolate before but had high hopes for it since it looks really good quality and pure. There aren't any reviews on this site, so it was a gamble. Unfortunately, we found it really sour in taste (we've tried many other forms of protein powder and none tasted like this, collagen is slightly sour, but nothing to this extent). To mask the taste, tried to blend with all sorts of things but nothing worked (banana, peanut butter, cinnamon, almond milk, milk, blueberries, matcha, coffee, and desperately Milo which defeats the purpose of trying to be pure and healthy...). It also clumps really bad, the only way we found so far that works (but only for 2 teaspoons, which is far below serving size) is to mix it with another type of dry powder first (like Milo), stir well, then add water (adding liquid first with powder on top, just made everything stick to the top of the cup and spoon). Or, for the full serving size, we need to blend it (shaking or string doesn't work). Also tried mixing cold, warm, hot. Dreading how we're going to get through the 1kg pack which cost a lot. We have no doubt the quality of ingredients is pure and healthy, it's just really hard to consume. We won't hesitate to try other products from Matakana Superfoods at all, it's just that this was unknown without reviews.

Order values under $100 incur a flat shipping fee country-wide of NZ$9.50 (no extra charge for Rural Delivery).
Depending on the time of day your order is placed, we strive to have your order dispatched within 1- 3 working days. Please note that this period may be extended during statutory holidays and over the Christmas/New Year period.
Orders over AU$100.00 qualify for free shipping.
Order values under $100 incur a flat shipping fee of $15.
Expected dispatch time is 1-3 working days unless there are issues beyond our control. Orders are shipped via DHL or AU Post.
Middle East tracked NZ$45.00.
Philippines tracked NZ$40.00.
Rest of the world tracked NZ$35.00.
International orders are shipped via DHL. Expected delivery time is 5-10 working days for most destinations, however, it can be 10-14 working days for more remote locations. We also reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees depending on the weight, volume and delivery location for your order. International orders may attract local customs taxes or duties on arrival to your country. Matakana Superfoods is open 5 days a week, Mon-Fri. All orders placed over the weekend will be processed the next working day.
When you place an order you have the opportunity to state instructions for the courier to leave the parcel somewhere on your property. Please note that you do this at your own risk and there is no way to claim your goods should they not arrive, or are stolen.

Cancellations, Returns and Refund Policy
1. We will provide a full refund or replacement (at your election) if the quality of goods delivered is unacceptable (proof may be required). This is on the condition that you contact us within 24 hours of receiving the goods either by phone or email (to be obtained from the website). We recommend you check the contents of your parcel prior to signing the courier.
2. Before returning any goods, the customer must contact MATAKANA SUPERFOODS by phone or email (to be obtained from the website).
3. We do not accept cancellations once your order has been handed to our courier for delivery.
4. We do not provide refunds for change of mind returns.
5. All eligible refund requests will be processed within 30 days.
