Supergreens Biome incorporates the probiotic superstrain Bacillus subtilis (DE111) which has been scientifically researched to support healthy cholesterol levels and digestive health in children and adults. Also included is Fucoidan-rich South Pacific Wakame and Camu Camu from the Amazon.

Bacillus Subtilis (DE111) is a naturally occurring spore-forming probiotic strain with a longer shelf life, temperature tolerance and increased ability to survive the digestive tract relative to many other probiotic strains. It can help support the re-establishment of a healthy and diverse intestinal flora.

Bacillus subtills (DE111) also produces a range of beneficial metabolites such as:

  • Short-chain fatty acids including propionate, butyrate, and acetate which are especially important in lower gut health and support the proliferation of beneficial bacteria.
  • Digestive enzymes notably proteases, that help support the bioavailability of amino acids from both plant and animal-based sources. Other enzymes include cellulase, lipase, and amylase.
  • Bacteriocins and anti-fungal compounds that help support the suppression of potential pathogens.
  • Exopolysaccharides (EPS) that may help support the intestinal mucosal barrier.

How to Take

Dosage (Adults): 2g (1 metric tsp) per day.

Doses per pouch: 100

Directions: Add 2g per day to water.

Caution: Store in a cool, dry place or refrigerate after opening. Reseal cap immediately after each use. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25c. Pregnant or nursing - seek advice from a healthcare professional before consuming.

New Zealand Orders

New Zealand orders over NZ$100 are freight-free.

Order values under $100 incur a flat shipping fee country-wide of NZ$6.50 (no extra charge for Rural Delivery).

Depending on the time of day your order is placed, we strive to have your order delivered to you within 1- 3 working days. However, please note that there are times when the postal service is at capacity and delivery times may be extended. Rural delivery can also take 1-2 working days longer.

Australian Orders

Orders over NZ$150.00 qualify for free shipping.

Order values under $150 incur a flat shipping fee of $15. 

Expected delivery time is 3- 5 working days unless there are issues beyond our control. Orders are shipped via DHL.

International Orders

Middle East tracked NZ$45.00.

Rest of the world tracked NZ$35.00.

International orders are shipped via DHL. Expected delivery time is 5-10 working days for most destinations, however, it can be 10-14 working days for more remote locations. We also reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees depending on the weight, volume and delivery location for your order. We will contact you to confirm shipping costs before processing your order if this is the case.

International orders may attract local customs taxes or duties on arrival to your country. These taxes/duties are required to be paid by the purchaser and are not the responsibility of Matakana Superfoods. No refunds will be issued for orders where tax/duties remain unpaid by the purchaser. Please check with your local customs agency regarding the tax/duty likely to be charged prior to ordering.

Shipping Terms & Conditions

Matakana Superfoods is open 5 days a week, Mon-Fri. All orders placed over the weekend will be processed the next working day.

When you place an order you have the opportunity to state instructions for the courier to leave the parcel somewhere on your property. Please note that you do this at your own risk and there is no way to claim your goods should they not arrive, or are stolen.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched from our website we are unable to intercept the parcel, so please ensure the contents of your order are correct at purchase and that the correct address and delivery details have been included at checkout.

 

 

Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy

We hope that you are happy with your purchase but should you wish to return any item to us, we will be happy to refund or replace a product subject to the following conditions:

  1. We will provide a full refund or replacement (at your election) if the quality of goods delivered is unacceptable (we may request photographic proof). This is on the condition that you contact us within 24 hours of receiving the goods either by phone or by emailing orders@matakanasuperfoods.com. We recommend you check the contents of your parcel prior to signing the courier.
  2. Before returning any goods, the customer must contact Matakana Superfoods by phone or email (to be obtained from the website).
  3. We do not accept cancellations once your order has been handed to our courier for delivery.
  4. We do not provide refunds for change-of-mind returns.
  5. All eligible refund requests will be processed within 30 days.

  6. Subject to the terms above, we are happy to refund or replace any item requested within 20 days of placing your order.

  7. If you believe your order has been lost in transit, you must contact us within 20 days of placing your order to be eligible for a refund or replacement.
