Hot Chilli sauce will give your everyday cooking a delicious spicy and slightly sweet flavour. It is 100% natural and a great alternative to regular sweet chili sauce as it contains no additives, preservatives or cane sugar.

Sticky Coconut Amino Sauce is a delicious, teriyaki-style sauce and the perfect addition to stir-fries, marinades, glazes and sauces. Free from soy, gluten and cane sugar this sauce is incredibly versatile and a healthy choice for the whole family.

CocoNotSoy Sauce also known as 'liquid aminos' or 'coconut amino sauce' is a delicious, 100% natural, soy and gluten-free soy sauce alternative. Made from only pure fermented coconut nectar and sea salt this flavourful sauce is the perfect addition to stir-fries, sushi, dressings and marinades or use as a delicious all-purpose seasoning.

New Zealand Orders

All New Zealand orders over NZ$100 qualify for free shipping.

Order values under $100 incur a flat shipping fee country-wide of NZ$9.50 (no extra charge for Rural Delivery).

Depending on the time of day your order is placed, we strive to have your order dispatched within 1- 3 working days. Please note that this period may be extended during statutory holidays and over the Christmas/New Year period.

Australian Orders

All Australian orders over AUD$100.00 qualify for free shipping.

Order values under AUD$100 incur a flat shipping fee of $15.

Expected dispatch time is 1-3 working days unless there are issues beyond our control. Orders are shipped via DHL or AusPost.

UK Orders

All UK orders are shipped via DHL with a flat shipping fee of £17.50.

UK customers please note that we are unable to ship overs over £135 (including the price of shipping), so please keep the value of your cart to £85 or less to avoid issues.

Expected dispatch time is 1-3 working days unless there are issues beyond our control. Orders are shipped via DHL or AU Post.

Expected delivery time is 5-10 working days from date of order.

International Orders

Middle East tracked NZ$45.00.

Philippines tracked NZ$40.00.

Rest of the world tracked NZ$35.00.

International orders are shipped via DHL. Expected delivery time is 5-10 working days for most destinations, however, it can be 10-14 working days for more remote locations. We also reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees depending on the weight, volume and delivery location for your order. We will contact you to confirm shipping costs before processing your order if this is the case.

UK and International orders may attract local customs taxes or duties on arrival to your country. These taxes/duties are required to be paid by the purchaser and are not the responsibility of Matakana Superfoods. No refunds will be issued for orders where tax/duties remain unpaid by the purchaser. Please check with your local customs agency regarding the tax/duty likely to be charged prior to ordering.

EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

Customers in the European Union
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, unless an exception under applicable law applies.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision before the withdrawal period expires. You may do so by using our online withdrawal function (where available) or by contacting us using the details provided on our Contact Us page. Once your withdrawal request has been received, we will provide confirmation of receipt without undue delay.

You must return the goods to us in saleable condition within 14 days of notifying us of your decision to withdraw. Unless the return is due to our error or the goods are faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods to us.

We will refund all payments received for the returned goods, including the standard cost of delivery where required by applicable law, within the timeframes required by EU consumer law. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods in saleable condition, or satisfactory evidence that they have been returned.

If the returned goods incur any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, storage charges, handling fees, or other charges imposed by customs authorities or the shipping carrier upon their return to us, these amounts will be deducted from your refund. Where such charges exceed the value of the refund, we reserve the right to reduce the refund accordingly. We are not responsible for customs duties, taxes, VAT, or other import charges levied by your local customs authority on either the original shipment or the return of the goods.

Exceptions
For health, hygiene and food safety reasons, the right of withdrawal does not apply where permitted by applicable law, including but not limited to:

Products that have been opened or unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons.
Perishable goods or products liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
Any other products excluded from the right of withdrawal under applicable EU consumer protection legislation.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Shipping Terms & Conditions

Matakana Superfoods is open 5 days a week, Mon-Fri. All orders placed over the weekend will be processed the next working day.

When you place an order you have the opportunity to state instructions for the courier to leave the parcel somewhere on your property. Please note that you do this at your own risk and there is no way to claim your goods should they not arrive, or are stolen.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched from our website we are unable to intercept the parcel, so please ensure the contents of your order are correct at purchase and that the correct address and delivery details have been included at checkout.

Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy

We hope that you are happy with your purchase but should you wish to return any item to us, we will be happy to refund or replace a product subject to the following conditions:

We will provide a full refund or replacement (at your election) if the quality of goods delivered is unacceptable (we may request photographic proof). This is on the condition that you contact us within 24 hours of receiving the goods either by phone or by emailing orders@matakanasuperfoods.com. We recommend you check the contents of your parcel prior to signing the courier.
Before returning any goods, the customer must contact Matakana Superfoods by phone or email (to be obtained from the website).
We do not accept cancellations once your order has been handed to our courier for delivery.
We do not provide refunds for change-of-mind returns.
All eligible refund requests will be processed within 30 days.
Subject to the terms above, we are happy to refund or replace any item requested within 20 days of placing your order.
If you believe your order has been lost in transit, you must contact us within 20 days of placing your order to be eligible for a refund or replacement.

All prices on our website are represented in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include New Zealand goods and services tax (GST). All prices are correct at time of publication; however we reserve the right to alter our prices for any reason at any time.

Any promotions, sales or discount codes for use on the Matakana Superfoods website are valid exclusively for first-time purchases. These offers cannot be utilised for existing (repeat) subscriptions or wholesale orders. Promotional codes are not valid on already discounted items or during sitewide sales. Discounts cannot be combined. Valid on selected products only, excludes gift cards.
