What is the difference between Mega Dose Vitamin C and Natural C Complex?
Natural C Complex is a supplement derived from whole fruit powders, delivering vitamin C as it is found in nature, complete with the co-factors, flavonoids and phytonutrients that accompany it in food. It is designed for everyday, foundational vitamin C support.
Mega Dose Vitamin C also contains natural vitamin C from camu camu, but delivers much higher vitamin C levels with the addition of 1500mg of ascorbic acid per serve. It is your heavy hitter, designed for times when your immune system needs extra support, such as during winter, periods of high stress, or when you feel something coming on.
What is ascorbic acid and is it different from natural vitamin C?
Ascorbic acid is the chemical name for vitamin C in its pure supplemental form. It is chemically identical to the vitamin C found in food, and the body uses it in the same way. What is camu camu and why is it included?
Camu camu is a small Amazonian berry and one of the most concentrated natural sources of vitamin C available naturally. It is included in Mega Dose Vitamin C to complement the ascorbic acid with a whole food source of vitamin C containing natural co-factors and flavonoids. Together they provide a more complete approach to vitamin C supplementation than ascorbic acid alone.
Can I take more than one serve per day?
Yes, for short term adult use during periods of increased immune demand, one level teaspoon can be taken every two to three hours during waking hours. It is important to monitor your intake in accordance with bowel tolerance, as high doses of vitamin C may cause bowel looseness when individual tolerance levels are reached.
Is Mega Dose Vitamin C suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

Shipping Terms & Conditions
Matakana Superfoods is open 5 days a week, Mon-Fri. All orders placed over the weekend will be processed the next working day.
When you place an order you have the opportunity to state instructions for the courier to leave the parcel somewhere on your property. Please note that you do this at your own risk and there is no way to claim your goods should they not arrive, or are stolen.
Once your order has been processed and dispatched from our website we are unable to intercept the parcel, so please ensure the contents of your order are correct at purchase and that the correct address and delivery details have been included at checkout.
Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy
